Pressure

This silence

It vibrates

Bone deep.

Like a pelvic thrust into the soul

On the one hand there’s a beating heart

On the other, warmth and liquid.

Sticky like a paste.

Her silence is the last you’ll ever hear.

Like the picture of skin tearing

And a nail dragging across the split flesh.

Her silence is the one you’ll regret

having heard it

having known it

You’ll remember it.

Pages turning

Panting and breathing

with someone that isn’t you.

She’s a demon,

she’s a flame.

She’s the darkness,

she’ll eat your heart out.

She’ll drag your name through the mud.

She’ll destroy you

because she was heaven sent.
