It’s so strange.
The transverse between happiness and misery.
Having attained the height of one and not quite the other.
And once the former has left me, the latter builds and builds.
Like brick and mortar
And ocean to shore
And foot to pavement.
That dream of falling is just a dream,
I don’t have it anymore.
That nightmare of being alone doesn’t haunt me any longer.
From one end of the universe the stars have collided
The Big Bang makes an unfrightened being.
Unraveled are the ribbons of pain and neglect,
New skin, new face, new life.
A light burning to its greatest capacity
Through one side of your skull and outside the other.
Fractured by the bullet of my positivity
You’re lost.
Floating endlessly in a
space you’ve made.
